Many conversations

I had too many funny, cute and memorable conversations with Rachel yesterday that I don't want to forget.

I called for Rachel and her reply was, "Just a moment mother." What 3 year old says that!?

R-"Mommy we're eating poopy"
M- "That's gross"
R- "We're just pretending"
M- "It's still gross."
R- "No it's not, it's yummy!"
Ashley- "Yummy poopy."

Some background on the following conversation. There's a show on PBS called SuperWhy, very cute. The show's main characters are 4 Super Readers who help solve problems in a story by going into a storybook. The sentences they read show up on the bottom of the screen. At the end to fix the problem Super Why (who has the power to read) has to change a word in the sentence to resolve the issues. The show really is cute. I would recommend it to anyone with young kids. With that said...

M- Girls stop jumping off the bed, you're making the house shake and it sounds like you're going to fall through the floor.

R- [blank stare]

M- Did you hear me, no more jumping off the bed. You can jump on the bed but not off of it.

R- But Mommy it's right here in my story.
[Pointing at the wall and moving along as she "reads"] The girls jump on the bed and then jump off.
See I have to, it says to right here.

M- [Pause to contain chuckle and decide what to say]
Well, change the story then.

R- Mom, I'm not SuperWhy.
