We don't have cable so during the week if the girls want to watch tv they get PBS which is pretty much commercial free. It's 100% non-toy commercials. So I was surprised on Wednesday when Rachel asked to play on my Kindle and I told her no because I wanted her to go play and she could use the Kindle at the doctors on Friday. (I'm also trying to keep the games on there new and interesting.) She turns to me and says, "Well, the tv says there's a new ipad for kids. So I can get my own!"
Well it took 4 1/2 years for Rachel to be influenced by a commercial. Not bad if I do say so myself.
