babby babble

I laid Rachel down in her crib tonight and turned on her mobile. I left the room to go get some water. I knew she wasn't going to go sleep yet and was planning on heading straight back to continue playing with her. When I heard talking so I grabbed the camera. Enjoy the jabbering Rachel. (I apologize the video is sideways I don't know how to turn it, maybe Mike will when he gets home. )

She turned 3 months old and realized she had a voice that she could use when ever she wanted. So she does. I feel like she talks all the time. I took her on a walk to the park with my friend Julie and her son Grant this afternoon and she was so excited to watch the kids playing that she started trying to talk to them or trying to tell us about it; I'm not sure which since I can't understand baby babble. I even sat her up in her stroller (without the car seat) and she loved it. We went down the slide and swung on the swing, until a little girl asked if she could swing then I gladly gave it up. I've decided that having a kid is great because then I can be a kid again and boy do I miss it sometimes- like today.

That's adorable Mike! Wait until she starts to squeal Elana got into it a few weeks ago and won't stop, it's comedy!

I love baby babble, and I'm so glad Joy reminds me how to be a kid. It helps me appreciate the fascinating details of life that we tend to overlook when we become boring grown-ups.
