First Word

Sunday when I arrived in Houston my dad thought Rachel was saying her first word. I kinda dismissed it because Mike and I had been discussing wether she actually knew what it was or not. You always hear kids saying "dada" but it's just sounds. When Rachel started saying "doggie" we weren't sure if it was just a new sound or not. Tonight I realized she knows what doggie is. I opened up "Spot Loves His Grandpa" and Rachel immediately said "doggie". Mike and I were right when we said "doggie" would be Rachel's first word!
